Welcome to VintAxe. Steve Brown and Don Thompson designed this website to help you learn more about some of the lesser known guitars produced from the 1920's to 2007. There are pictures and descriptions of electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers and other musical gear from our collections. Whether you like American guitars, European guitars or instruments produced in Japan and Asia, we should have something in the collection of interest to you. We also have a growing selection of vintage instrument catalogs to help you identify guitars, or just browse for fun, as well as links to other informative vintage guitar sites and current boutique instrument manufacturers. You can use the Forum to list musical equipment you want to sell or to ask questions you may have about a vintage guitar you own. You can also check out our sales list for some bargains on vintage guitars as well as spare catalogs we have for sale.
Many of the instruments pictured on this site have been used for recording our band Girl For Samson. Please check out our band site to hear these instruments in action.
